Bad Religion November 5, 2009

Religion was only created in an attempt to control people, attain power, or to explain the unexplainable. We cannot grow as a society until we come to grips that life is as simple as you are born and you die.
There is no after-life, no higher being than ourselves, and we alone are responsible for our own actions. Please stop thanking God for your Emmy, every time you score a touchdown, or you win a $100 in the lottery. No higher power helped you. You won your award because you were better than someone else. Your touchdown came from your own hard work. The $100 you just won came from odds, after you spend $1000 the year before playing the lottery. People it’s time to move on and grow up.

Well, I broke down and bought the MacbookPro. I must say it is a lot different than a PC. So far I will say I really like it. Going to try and start coding in Objective-C, after I figure the damn thing out!…lol

Well I thought it would never happen. My wife just got a new MacbookPro and I’m jealous…lol I have been a Windows person since the begininng. Since I make my living from Microsoft, I never thought I would want a Apple laptop. Well, I must say the Mac is really nice!
So, tonight after work I think I’m going to buy one. Since we are planning on moving out of country in the next 2 years or less, we can use it for photo and vid processing.

It’s now a cold day in Hell…
I don’t Twitter. I don’t Facebook. I only have a linkedin account to keep contacts within my profession. I do however have a website (ISpySQL.com). After 20 years in the IT profession and 10 years supporting multiple free software applications (which is like having a second full time job), the last thing I want to do is to worry about keeping other people up to date that don’t really care anyway.
So here I am working a blog. This way I have full control and no 140 character limit!
I will ONLY update this blog when I have something to say.
After years of trying to accumulate “Stuff”, (mainly me), my wife and I are becoming minimalists. We are selling everything we have, including our house and pretty much all of the contents. Our plan is within a few years to move outside the United States. I’m fortunate in that my job is sought after and I am well respected with my discipline. It’s time for a change!
